Partner with executive leaders to tell the stories that move cities, communities, and people
Proactively identify communication needs that support Transport for NSW's strategic and operational goals
In this role you'll:
* Develop and execute strategic communication plans, translating complex priorities into clear messaging for diverse audiences.
* Design and implement best-practice communication channels, tools, and templates that effectively connect and engage operational and frontline workforces, ensuring messages are relevant, timely, and well-coordinated
* Oversee delivery across the full suite of communication services, including internal communications, change and transformation communications, people communications, external messaging, and internal events through specialist coordination
* Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals while driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights, building strong business partnerships, and proactively identifying communication needs that support strategic and operational goals

* 1 x Senior Manager Communications Partnering - Rail: Partner with Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink to engage frontline staff, stakeholders, and passengers across major change programs including the Independent Rail Review, One Rail, and Fleet Readiness. End date - 30th Jan 2028
* 1x Senior Manager Communications Partnering - TfNSW: Partner across roads, motorways, light rail, buses, and ferries to deliver integrated communications that connect communities and support the state's largest infrastructure program. End date - 30th Jan 2028.
About you
You're an experienced communications strategist with experience leading large communications teams. You bring proven expertise in leading high-impact communication strategies in large, complex organisations, public sector experience will be highly regarded.
You excel in advising executives and influencing decisions during complex change, transformation, and service innovation. Your expertise spans audience segmentation, channel strategy, and engagement across internal and external platforms, including operational and frontline workforces.
You are skilled at leading, coaching and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes across multiple projects. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholders, balance priorities, and maintain strategic agility makes you a trusted partner to executive leaders.
