A leading role exists for a skilled Head Chef to oversee the culinary direction of a regional restaurant located on the Mornington Peninsula, approximately 100 kilometers from Melbourne.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a team and continue to develop and expand the menu.
* Menu planning and development
* Estimating food and labor costs
* Liaising with suppliers and utilizing seasonal and local produce
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Maintaining adherence to hygiene regulations
Key requirements include creativity in cookery techniques, ability to train others, working effectively under pressure, being a team player, positive, punctual, and professional, familiar with food safety and OHS guidelines, attention to detail, and competency with ordering and managing stock.
