Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Integration Manager to lead and deliver Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) outcomes to assure aligned, sustainable and long-term success of the Super Hornet and Growler platforms.
This strategic position reports to the Sustainment Program Manager. The Integration Manager is responsible for the overall business rigour of Super Hornet and Growler sustainment Program.
**Responsibilities**:
The Integration Manager has a varied and diverse portfolio, where no two days are the same. In this role you will manage and direct program activities including contracting, subcontracting, finance, configuration management, efficiency improvements, system safety, trade controls and work management at all levels within the Super Hornet and Growler sustainment program. Another facet to the role is you will be responsible for monitoring program performance to ensure cost, quality, safety and schedule requirements are met and exceeded.
This position is part of the Super Hornet Leadership Team and will be required to liaise with customers at all levels both internal and external.
This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.
Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in managing large scale, complex projects to successful and timely completion.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute high-level management functions including customer liaison, business awareness with a track record of successful execution outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in a broad range of functional areas including finance, scheduling, production control, trade controls, intellectual property management, metrics management, quality, subcontracting and procurement
- Tertiary qualification in a business related field, e.g. Program Management, Finance, Engineering discipline.
- Significant experience in the management of sub-contractors and awareness of contracting mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in financial, contracts and trade control management for large projects in the aerospace industry.
- Qualifications in project management (meets minimum requirements of National Competency Standard for Project Management).
- Understanding and appreciation of a matrix based organisation and the demonstrated ability to operate effectively within such an environment.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with company and customer representatives.
- High level leadership and people skills and the ability to recognise high achievers and grow their skills.
- Excellent level communication and negotiation skills that facilitate interaction between staff and key internal and external customer groups.
- Experience in a military or commercial aerospace environment
