What you'll be doingWork within the Far West LHD CAMHS and Safeguards teams, providing community-based assertive outreach, care coordination, and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their families.
Provide specialist assessment and interventions for children and adolescents (0 to 17 years).
Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities, and deliver training and education to multidisciplinary clinicians to promote safe clinical practice and quality education.

How to apply Please address the selection criteria thoroughly in your application to be considered:
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist or eligible for the specialist pathway as an overseas-trained psychiatrist.Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.Recent clinical experience as a specialist child and adolescent psychiatrist.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership.Effective clinical communication skills, including use of information technology, and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.Valid unrestricted drivers' license for use in Australia and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.Need more information?
