About the Role
Fixed Term Contract of 12 months (not a daily rate contract role). Seasoned IT Commercial Manager required to lead development and execution of strategic sourcing that supports an evolving technology roadmap, driving end‐to‐end contract lifecycle management, ensuring contracts and commercial models stay aligned to strategic priorities, business demand and future capability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex technology‐related sourcing initiatives across software and professional services.
* Develop and execute market engagement approaches for new capabilities, platforms and service models.
* Lead competitive RFx events, supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations.
* Review and provide feedback to senior leadership on commercial viability of proposals.
* Shape commercial models that unlock value, capability and scalability to support priorities and roadmap.
* Ensure procurement activities align with procurement policies and procedures driven by Group Procurement and IT Commercial.
* Facilitate cross‐functional deal working groups across relevant business units and Group Support functions.
* Conduct external benchmarking and commercial intelligence exercises to ensure competitive service and pricing outcomes.
* Act as the commercial lead for a portfolio of initiatives, translating roadmap priorities into executable sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
* 10+ years negotiating and managing technology contracts for a large enterprise.
* Strong track record sourcing new technology capabilities and developing strategic vendor partnerships.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, demonstrating a logical approach to problem solving.
* Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and innovative thinking.
* Experience working in a digital environment.
* Ability to think customer first and relate solutions back to the customer problem and outcomes.

* Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders up to C-level.
