Project Manager (Power Systems) - Multiple Roles

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Australia's energy sector, including utility-scale BESS, BESS system integration, high-voltage transmission and distribution systems, heavy fleet electrification, and data centres.
You will manage end-to-end project execution from design coordination and procurement through to construction and commissioning, ensuring delivery meets schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets. This role requires a technically credible and delivery-focused project manager who drives outcomes through effective stakeholder coordination, proactive risk management, and decisive problem-solving when projects face challenges in the field.
What You'll Do
Project Planning & Delivery:
Manage the planning and execution of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring they meet strategic objectives, technical requirements, and commercial considerations.
Contract and Procurement Management:
Coordinate procurement and contracting processes, ensuring agreements align with project needs, budgets, and quality expectations.
Technical Coordination and System Support:
Provide technical input and support to ensure project outcomes meet industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
Tender Development Support:
Contribute to scheduling, cost estimation, and tender development processes to support effective program delivery.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment that drives successful outcomes. Opportunity to mentor junior members as part of ongoing team development.
Project Controls & Budget Management:
Manage project budgets and timelines from planning through to delivery. Track costs against forecast, manage variations, control cash flow, and ensure projects deliver on schedule and within financial targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
HSE Leadership:
Drive safety culture and HSE compliance across all project activities. Ensure work meets regulatory requirements, conduct safety briefings, manage safety systems, and hold teams accountable to safety standards that protect people and project outcomes.

About You
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent.
Proven experience as a project manager in the energy sector, particularly with power systems projects.
High Voltage experience in transmission / distribution will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse project teams.
Solid technical and commercial understanding relevant to energy projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to travel interstate or regional as needed for project and business requirements.
