Job Description:
Australian Citizens With NV2 Clearance previous defence experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team, valuable communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Defence Deployed systems
This role will work within the SEA2273 Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.
The HCI Specialist will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
- Design, build and support VMWare and Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
Support, manage and patch Microsoft OS and product based Enterprise.
Integrate complex ICT infrastructure software and applications.
- Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to Windows servers, and integrated applications.
Assist with development and build defect remediation.
Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts.
- Create and peer review Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides and related artefacts.
Work closely with Test, Engineering and Support teams.
- Demonstrated experience working in Defence as a Nutanix HCI Infrastructure Specialist.
- Demonstrated experience in operating system patching and application deployment.
- Demonstrated experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Powershell.
Strong knowledge of:
VMWare
Microsoft WDS and WSSUS
- Microsoft Active Directory
Knowledge of ITIL best practice and ISO Quality Standards.
