Order Fulfillment Associate
At our distribution facility, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Order Fulfillment Associate.
As an Order Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing customer orders for delivery across our range of products. This is a key position that plays a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through attention to detail, product quality, and timely fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately select and pack orders based on pick slips, ensuring correct products, quantities, and labeling.
* Handle a wide range of chilled, frozen, and dry goods with care, maintaining quality standards.
* Ensure all items are packed safely and securely to avoid damage during transport.
* Follow proper stock rotation procedures.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
* Operate pallet jacks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
* Assist in receiving, unloading, and restocking deliveries as required.
* Communicate with supervisors or the dispatch team if any issues arise during picking or packing.
* Follow food safety and handling procedures according to HACCP standards.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or food distribution environment preferred.
* Ability to work in cold and freezer environments for extended periods.
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes safely.
* A positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
* Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
* Valid driver's license (preferred).
