Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
We are currently seeking Mechanical Tradespersons to join our Truck Body Assembly and Repairs team located at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
1. Assembly and repairs from engineering drawings
2. Installation of heavy vehicle mechanical equipment
3. Fabrication and welding of mild steel and aluminum
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
1. Relevant trade qualification
2. Experience in a mechanical role
3. Experience in truck body assembly/repairs (an advantage)
4. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
5. Previous fabrication experience (an advantage)
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Experience in mechanical troubleshooting/problem solving and fault finding
8. Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic equipment (an advantage)
9. Experience in 12v/24v electrical wiring
10. The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
11. A current driver's licence
This is a full-time permanent position within our Truck Body Assembly and Repairs team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
