The Job
* Building local HR strategies that align with departmental goals to ensure delivery of successful outcomes.
* Partnering with the leadership team and internal stakeholders on employee cost‑management initiatives.
* Providing hands‑on HR operational support and coaching.
* Driving engagement initiatives to ensure strong, positive employee relations.
* Supporting site managers, interpreting awards/EBAs, administering contracts, and helping resolve work‑related problems.
* Training and supporting managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
* Conducting induction programs with new starters.
The Person
* Previous HR experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Working knowledge of Awards and EBAs.
* Exposure working in a large, fast‑paced environment.
* A qualification in HR or a similar field would be highly advantageous.
