Job Description
FERG Pty Ltd (Rodeo Saddle Shop), retailers and manufacturers of Leather and Western Wear, are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join their friendly team in Cloncurry, Qld.
The ideal candidate for this role will have heavy industrial sewing experience and have worked with various types of fabrics including leather and canvas.
To be considered for this position you will need to:
Have sound industrial sewing knowledge
Proficient with upholstery tools, including hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment
Be knowledgeable of different fabrics, padding materials, and techniques
Be able to repair or replace damaged upholstery
Be able to assess items to determine the nature of upholstery required
Be able to follow clear instructions
Work as part of a team
Be able to manipulate & maneuver heavy fabric & leather
Be punctual & reliable
Be quality focused
Have strong attention to detail for precise measurements and a high-quality finish
Have the ability to work unsupervised
Have the ability to meet deadlines
