ConsultANZ is looking for Site Engineers based anywhere in Australia for a FIFO role to WA with a top-tier piling contractor. This role will oversee a large mining project with the piling package valued at over $60M.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Attend construction meetings to stay informed on site progress and upcoming activities.
* Manage and coordinate piling works, including Secant Walls and Bored Piles with Segmental Casing.
* Oversee contract performance, ensuring safe and efficient construction practices.
* Identify and resolve construction-related issues quickly.
* Interpret contract terms, scopes, and engineering requirements relevant to piling works.
* Monitor and report on productivity, progress, and resource allocation.
* Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
* Supervise piling subcontractors and labour crews, ensuring quality workmanship.
* Report any incidents, issues, or delays to project management.
* Support quality assurance processes, including inspections, reinforcement checks, and concrete pour sampling.
* Contribute to performance reviews and training needs assessments for site crew personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
* 2–5 years' demonstrated site-based piling experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of piling techniques including Secant Walls and Bored Piles with Segmental Casing.
* Ability to work in FIFO conditions and adapt to remote project environments.
* Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
