About Goodstart Belgrave Heights
Goodstart Belgrave Heights is a 60-place warm and welcoming long day care centre located at 75 Colby Drive. Set within a beautiful natural environment, our purpose-built centre provides high‐quality education and care for children from nursery through to kindergarten, with strong links to the local community and a focus on play‐based learning aligned to the EYLF.
Full‐time Assistant Director role – working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between 6:30am – 6:30pm.
60‐place centre with four age‐based learning environments. Beautiful natural surroundings with outdoor learning and play. Strong focus on play‐based learning and school readiness aligned to EYLF. Supportive, experienced and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high‐quality early learning and care
* Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
* Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
* Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
* Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators to deliver high‐quality programs
* Embed and drive quality practices aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Foster strong relationships with children, families and the local community
* Support compliance with NQS, policies and procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement and centre performance outcomes
* Participate in the centre's rotating roster and support across rooms as required
Qualifications and Experience
