**Position Overview**
The Accounts Executive will play a vital role in managing our day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust systems that support compliance with ATO requirements. **To Be Successful You Will Need**
- Qualifications in a finance discipline with relevant accounting experience
- CPA or CA certification is highly desirable
- Proficiency in MYOB, XERO and other financial systems, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role
- Sound understanding of ATO obligations, GST, PAYG, superannuation, and payroll legislation
- High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems
- previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- High-volume data entry skills with strong numerical accuracy
- Strong time management and ability to meet daily targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable using Xero or other accounting software.
- Follow up outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of funds from private clients.
- Reconcile all bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage payroll
- Prepare and submit BAS, superannuation, and PAYG in coordination with our external accountant or ATO liaison.
- Maintain compliance documentation for audits and funding requirements, including income and expenditure reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security across all financial systems and documents.

Pay: $56,551.66 - $65,000.00 per year
