About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our finance team and support the delivery of high-quality financial services for our community. In this role, you will be mentored by professionals and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent (or near) graduate to apply their studies in a supportive and professional workplace, while building practical skills and contributing to the effective management of public resources.
To be successful you will bring

- Recent or substantial completion of tertiary qualifications in Accountancy or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of accountancy principles and application, including reconciliations.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team that has a focus on delivering quality customer service within set timeframes.
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail and accuracy.
The rewards
- An annual salary range of $70,800 to $81,200 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
