Your Impact We are seeking a passionate and commercially minded Category Development professional to join our team on a fixed-term, 12 month contract, supporting the Soft Drinks & Mixers portfolio. As Category Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainable category growth through insight-led strategy and execution. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and key retail customers, you’ll deliver category leadership, uncover growth opportunities and strengthen Asahi Beverages’ position as a trusted advisor in market. Key Accountabilities 1. Category Strategy and Planning Develop and lead category strategies aligned to business and customer objectives Identify growth opportunities across range & space Translate insights into actionable plans and selling stories 2. Customer & Channel Support Build strong relationships with key retail partners Deliver customer-specific recommendations and reviews Support Joint Business Planning with insight-led thinking 3. Insights & Analytics Analyse data (Nielsen, Circana, shopper data) to identify trends Monitor category and competitor performance Deliver clear insights and presentations 4. Range, Space & Merchandising Lead range review recommendations Develop space and merchandising principles Partner on in-store execution 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Sales and innovation teams Support customer engagement and execution Contribute to planning and category strategy About You Solid experience across Category, Trade Marketing and/or Account Management FMCG experience with major accounts (Woolworths, Coles) Strong ability to influence both internally and externally Experience working with scan/shopper data (Circana, Quantium and Summit highly regarded) Strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual Why Asahi Beverages?
