The Opportunity (Field Service)
We're looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Field Service team, supporting a modern fleet on site. You'll be trusted to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment to a high standard — with the tools, technology and support to do it right.
* Field‐based diagnostics, breakdown response and scheduled servicing
* Fault finding across diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrain, braking and electrical systems
* High‐quality repairs with strong attention to safety, workmanship and compliance
* Clear job card notes, service reporting and component history updates
* Work collaboratively with operations to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Roster & Travel
* 2/2 roster: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
* FIFO‐style travel: ex Australian capital cities
* Accommodation and meals provided while on shift (site dependent)
What You'll Need
* Australian recognised trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic
* Solid experience on heavy mobile equipment in mining, earthmoving or construction environments
* Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work autonomously in the field
* HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence — essential
* A proactive safety mindset and clear communication in a high‐tempo environment
Highly regarded (but not essential)
* First Aid
* OEM exposure and strong component change‐out experience
