Joining the human resources team, you will have an opportunity to learn and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of activities across the human resources discipline. You will be the first point of contact for HR-related matters and play a key role in delivering responsive administration, coordination and support across the business.

Your role

As the People & Organisation Advisor you will be responsible for contributing to the employee life cycle through overseeing a diverse range of activities including recruitment and selection, preparation of employment contracts and documentation, onboarding and induction, system management ensuring compliance, reward & benefits and payroll that contribute towards positive employee experience. The role will provide you with deep exposure and you'll get to work locally and international with your colleagues.

Day to day, you will oversee:

* Providing HR advice to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with policies, award and employment legislation.
* Supporting employee onboarding, contract generation, offboarding, and general employee lifecycle processes.
* Assisting in the coordination of performance management, incident reporting and disciplinary matters alongside your leader.
* Maintaining HR records and compliance documentation, including right-to-work checks and background screening.
* Contributing to HR projects and supporting policy implementation and engagement initiatives.
* Supporting payroll processes and learning payroll functions.

We're a small team which requires a flexible approach when managing the priorities across the team. Whilst you will be empowered to manage activities, you will be given the opportunity to broaden your exposure across the full spectrum of human resources. As a global company, there will be a requirement for you to join team calls after work hours from time to time. Whilst we encourage you to participate in these team collaboration sessions, we understand and acknowledge that employees are not able to attend all the time due to other commitments. Collaborating with our global colleagues' aids in the regions success and your attendance at these meeting will support.

What you'll bring with you

* Bachelor's degree in human resources is an essential requirement.
* Knowledge and awareness of HR best practices and legal requirements.
* Demonstrated experience performing in a human resource role.
* Proficiency in HR systems, SuccessFactors is an advantage yet not essential.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge and awareness of HR best practices and legal requirements.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
