We are seeking a dedicated support worker to assist clients with intellectual disabilities in a shared home.
* Deliver individualized support plans and ensure active engagement with clients.
* Assist with daily personal care tasks including toileting, showering, dressing.
* Utilize safe manual handling techniques in accordance with client plans.
* Provide transportation services using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
* Collaborate effectively within a close-knit team environment.
* Respond appropriately to incidents according to Unisson and NDIS guidelines.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid NSW driver's license (P2/full) and be confident driving Unisson vehicles.
* Demonstrate energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient qualities.
* Experience in disability support is preferred.
* Certification with Cert III/IV in Disability is desirable.
