About The Role
• Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off. With travel on the first and last days, you get SIX full days at home to chill with family or enjoy your downtime.
• Teamwork: Be part of a small, agile crew where your ideas and contributions are genuinely valued. Work with loyal clients and long-term contracts in a culture built on hard work, trust, and reward.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Installing, maintaining, and configuring state-of-the-art operational technology, including: Digital two-way radios, Fleet Management Systems, Wireless mesh networks, GPS systems, CCTV, IP networks, Fibre optics and data cabling
• Providing top-notch tech support for communications infrastructure
• Keeping track of work with detailed records and safety assessments
• Engaging with clients like a true professional, because you’re awesome at what you do

Experience & Qualifications
* Background in Telecommunications, IT Networking or
* Auto Electricians and Electricians (step into tech with traineeships at full trade wages no need to give up your earning potential)
* Hands-on with radio systems, IP networks, cabling, and electronic hardware
* Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnostics
* Mandatory: Open Cabling Registration (ACMA)
Extra Brownie Points:
* Experience in large-scale network deployments or radio tower installations
* Additional networking or telecom certifications
* FIFO is an option if your Brisbane based, but preference goes to those living in, or willing to relocate to, the Mackay–Townsville region.
