Island Fresh Produce (IFP), a subsidiary of Tasmanian Independent Retailers, is one of Tasmania's leading fruit and vegetable distributors. We proudly supply IGA and independent retailers, along with food service customers right across the state.
About the role:
We have multiple positions available in warehousing and distribution at our Kings Meadows distribution centre. Shifts are varied and may include weekend work and early morning starts, operating 7 days per week.
Shift allowances and penalty rates apply.
Key Duties:
* Accurately picking and packing orders with a strong focus on quality and detail
* Operate forklifts (licensed operators only) and manage stock rotation in cool room environments
* Deliver fresh produce to various locations across Tasmania
* Work in temperature‐controlled environments, including cool rooms as low as 2°C
* Perform manual handling tasks as required
* Carry out general warehouse duties
Highly desirable:
* Forklift license
* HR license (not essential)
* Proven experience in accurate order picking and safe equipment operation
