Bring your administrative expertise to a high-functioning, supportive team and help shape the future of infrastructure and service delivery in our community.ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a Senior Administration Officer to support our Technical Services department at a senior level — working closely with the Director and departmental leaders to manage daily operations, communications, and coordination across a busy team.
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless flow of information, preparation of reports and documents, and effective scheduling and management of meetings.
You'll handle complex and often sensitive matters, maintain accurate records, and liaise with stakeholders ranging from team members to Councillors and external agencies.
You may also step in to support the Director's PA as needed.Key duties include:Manage daily operations, communications, and coordination within the Technical Services department.Prepare reports and documents; ensure accuracy and timeliness.Schedule and coordinate meetings; liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Assist with confidential matters and maintain accurate records.Provide senior-level administrative support to the Director and departmental leaders as required.QualificationsExtensive experience in an office administration role.
Experience in Local Government would be highly regarded.Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification - Diploma is a plus
