About the Role
As a Tyre Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of heavy machinery tyres and rims. Key tasks include inspecting, removing, fitting, rotating, and inflating tyres on heavy mobile equipment, as well as repairing tyres in line with OEM specifications and site procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, remove, fit, rotate, and inflate tyres on heavy mobile equipment, including haul trucks and other mobile plant
* Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
* Perform tyre repairs and pressure management in line with OEM specifications and site procedures
You'll collaborate with supervisors, fitters, and planners to align tyre maintenance with production priorities. Adhering to all site safety protocols, including risk assessments and isolation procedures, is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant trade qualification or Certificate II in Mobile Tyre Fitting
* Demonstrated experience in mining tyre fitting, preferably on ultra-class equipment
* A sound understanding of mining safety protocols, including hazard identification, risk management, and isolation procedures
