Role Description

This is a contract role for a dedicated Trainer and Assessor in Community Services, located on-site at our Payneham campus in South Australia. The Trainer & Assessor will be responsible for delivering structured training programs, including Certificate IV in Community Services and Diploma of Community Services (Case Management). Additionally the trainer is responsible for conducting assessments, providing feedback to learners, and ensuring compliance with training standards. Duties also include maintaining training resources, mentoring students, coordinating workplace-based traineeships, and contributing to continuous improvement of course material.


Qualifications

* Demonstrated skills and experience in training delivery, session planning, conduct assessments in line with vocational competency standards
* In-depth knowledge and experience working in the Community Services sector including Aged Care and Disability support sectors
* Demonstrated skills and experience in Case Management for ageing and disability clients
* In-depth knowledge of Aged Care and NDIS practice standards
* Understanding of vocational education standards, compliance requirements, and training best practices
* Diploma of Community Services or higher qualification
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
* Other relevant qualifications in Community Services will be highly regarded
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities
* Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities
* Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment and with workplace mentors
* Current national police check, working with children/vulnerable persons check and driver's license are essential.
