Weekend Fish Filleter – Retail Seafood Store (Ashgrove, Brisbane)
We're on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Fish Filleter to join our friendly retail seafood team in Ashgrove.
This is a weekend position (some adhoc weekdays), offering up to 16 hours per weekend with flexible hours available.
About the Role:
You'll be working independently to prepare a variety of fresh seafood for retail sale, with a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and speed. Experience in fish filleting is essential, as you'll need to work efficiently and with minimal supervision.
What We're Looking For:
· Proven experience in fish filleting
· Minimum of 6 months fish filleting experience required
· Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work autonomously
· Good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
· Food safety certification must be obtained within 3 months of commencement
· Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
· Friendly attitude
· Immediate start
· Australian work rights required
