Wilga Farming (Australia) is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to join our team.
This role sits at the centre of our business, managing the flow of financial, operational, and market data, and ensuring insights reach the right people at the right time. You'll work closely with farm managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to translate complex information into clear strategies that support profitability, growth, and resilience.
This is not just a desk role. You'll be hands-on in supporting commercial decisions, shaping business plans, with regular travel across Australia to ensure every plan is grounded in evidence and achievable in practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the accurate and timely exchange of financial, operational, and market data within WFA.
* Analyse performance trends, risks, and opportunities to deliver actionable insights.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment analysis, reporting and planning.
* Partner with farm managers, suppliers, and contractors to achieve commercial outcomes.
* Drive process improvement, innovation, and efficiency across the platform.
About You
You're more than just numbers-focused, you know how to turn data into stories that drive decisions.
With a strong analytical mindset and eye for detail, you thrive on managing complex information flows and uncovering the trends that matter.
You're commercially astute, experienced in business agribusiness or agriculture, and confident presenting insights that influence stakeholders at all levels.
You build trusted relationships easily, whether you're out in the paddock with farm managers or in the boardroom with finance teams.
Above all, you're organised, proactive, and motivated. You take ownership, deliver on deadlines, and help the business stay ahead of the curve.
What You'll Bring
* Strong skills in business analysis, financial modelling, and strategy development.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in, business analytics, commerce, economics, agribusiness or a related discipline.
* Current driver's licence and ability to undertake regular travel.
* Experience in agribusiness, agriculture, or a related sector (desired but not essential).
