Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales, with additional depots in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth, and Hobart. We have been operating for 40 years and employ over 250 people.
The successful applicant will be trained as a plant operator on various specialised equipment whilst undertaking a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. SPA is committed to the training and development of our employees and providing a long-term career path.
About You:
* Have a current Drivers License
* Have a keen interest in machinery/Civil Construction
* Be prepared to travel throughout North Queensland and potentially interstate
* Have a strong work ethic, willing to work flexible hours to meet the client's needs
* Possess a positive, can-do attitude
* Keen interest in learning all facets of profiling work including pre-milling, asphalt work, and final trim
* Ability to work on your own and in a team environment
* Ability to complete pre-employment medical including D&A
* Focus on maintaining a safe work environment
