Job Title: Senior Youth Worker Lead
This role involves leading the youth services team as a key figure at our organization, overseeing engaging youth programs and providing guidance to staff members.
* Develop and oversee student wellbeing support and community development programs that drive positive change in young people's lives.
* Plan and lead wellbeing programs for students to enhance their mental health and well-being.
* Support vocational training programs offered to students through structured learning experiences.
* Lead associated programs, services, and events designed to engage young people.
* Mentor and support all youth workers across both junior and senior campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of youth programs with exceptional results.
Requirements:
* Hold a Certificate IV or above in Youth Work, Community Services, or other relevant qualifications that demonstrate expertise.
* Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of young people and their families.
* Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate behavior management strategies that contribute to a supportive environment.
* Ability and commitment to working with young people using strengths-based approaches and non-judgmental frameworks.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills that build strong relationships.
