Position: Café / Restaurant Manager

Salary: $75,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a Café / Restaurant Manager to join their café, bar and restaurant located in Sunshine Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
As a Café / Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing and controlling the overall operations of the café to ensure efficient service delivery, profitability and high customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise and control the overall operations of the café/restaurant.
* Plan and coordinate menus in consultation with kitchen staff and suppliers.
* Organise and manage special functions, bookings and service delivery.
* Coordinate service delivery, bookings and operational workflow.
* Manage staff including recruitment, training, supervision and rostering.
* Ensure high standards of food, beverage and customer service delivery.
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies and manage inventory control systems.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
* Manage financial performance including budgeting, pricing and cost control.
* Maintain records of stock levels, sales, wages and financial transactions.
* Resolve customer complaints and implement service improvement strategies.
* Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
Requirements:
* Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification.
* At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.
* Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Café / Restaurant Manager or similar role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to manage a fast-paced hospitality environment.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Sound understanding of hospitality operations, stock control and financial management.
