About the role
The firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to growth
This role will be key in being able to help manage a well-established portfolio of exciting clients.
This firm work across a range of excellent clients; their bread and butter is Agriculture clients with turnovers up to $500million however, they also have a lot of clients such as UHNW, Construction, Manufacturing etc.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing financial statements and taxation returns
* Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
* Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
* Managing client interactions and responsibilities – all Senior Accountants have direct client contact
* Mentoring and training junior staff members including some review work
Skills & Experience:
* 3-4+ years of experience in Business Services
* Proficiency with Xero
* Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
* A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
