Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to lead and drive revenue growth for our Industrial Automation business in the Pacific Region.

This is an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge software-defined industrial automation solution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market awareness, influencing key decision-makers, and driving adoption among system integrators, OEMs, and industrial end-users.


Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Commercial Success: Direct Selling, consultative and prescriptive selling techniques to drive commercial success.
2. Identify and Nurture Opportunities: Identify, qualify, and nurture high-potential business opportunities for EAE.
3. Collaborate with Channel Partners: Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies.
4. Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and long-term agreements to maximize revenue potential.
5. Market Development and Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a sales strategy that positions EAE as a disruptive open automation platform in your region.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Tertiary qualification in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or in a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in consultative, technical solution sales is essential.
* A deep understanding of Industrial Automation and applications is essential including experience with industrial control systems (ICS), PLC/SCADA, DCS, edge computing.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Demonstrated experience in launching and scaling new products, offers, and solutions.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and executing impactful business development strategies that drive growth.
* Strong commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills, from the shop floor to the C-suite.
* In-depth knowledge of how Industrial segments and their associated applications work is key to this role.
