We are currently recruiting for a qualified and safety-focused Electrician to join the service team at an operational wind farm located in Regional Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the growing renewable energy industry with a leading energy provider.About the RoleAs a Wind Farm Service Technician, you will be responsible for the ongoing electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and servicing of wind turbines and associated systems.
This is a site-based role, working outdoors and at heights, as part of a skilled and safety-conscious team.Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on wind turbines and related equipment Diagnose and repair faults on LV and HV electrical systems Conduct inspections, testing, and component replacements Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and regulatory standards Accurately complete service records and maintenance documentation Participate in a rotating on-call roster (1 in every 3 weeks) Roster & Hours 4-day work week (10-hour days) 40 hours per week On-call duties 1 in every 3 days (shared roster) Requirements A-Grade Electrical License Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in remote locations Valid Driver's Licence Commitment to safe work practices Highly Regarded Experience in the wind or broader renewable energy sector HV Switching qualifications Working at Heights and High-Risk Work Licences First Aid & CPR certification What's on Offer Permanent full-time position with stable hours All PPE and tools provided Ongoing training and development in renewable energy technologies Work with a global leader in wind energy Travel and accommodation support may be offered for non-local candidates
