We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team.
About the Role
This is a varied role that combines accounts responsibilities with general office administration. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts
* Assist in processing Accounts Payable, including supplier invoices and reconciliations
* Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and following up outstanding payments
* Allocate incoming payments accurately
* Assist with bank reconciliations
* Support payment runs and maintain financial records
* Assist with month-end processes and reporting
Administration
* Provide general administrative support across the business
* Maintain filing systems and company records
* Handle data entry and document management
* Respond to phone and email enquiries
* Coordinate office supplies and general office tasks
* Support the team with ad-hoc administrative duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or administration role
* Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Business Administration (desirable but not essential)
* Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team
