ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for end-to-end oversight of the supply chain, including international sourcing, importation, and the effective management of third-party logistics providers, the role ensures that products arrive on time, in full, and cost-effectively, to support commercial and customer service goals.
Core to the role will be:
- Review and analysis of existing state of the supply network to identify opportunities for improvement across planning, logistics, and sourcing
- Establish a robust planning process, consistent across multiple business units, that will deliver a reduction in inventory and an enhancement to service levels
- Enhance the relationship with the key third party logistics providers to ensure and supply issues are effectively resolved
- Lead, motivate and develop the supply team who are responsible for both planning and purchasing
ABOUT THE PERSON
