This new hire will play a pivotal role in uplifting the overall infrastructure capability within the organisation through the successful delivery of new capabilities from idea to implementation, support and adoption; and map out future technology roadmap in alignment with the companies IT strategy.In this role, you - the successful candidate, will be responsible for assisting in the management of third-party managed service providers and providing liaison between the business and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of core infrastructure services.The successful candidate will be required to assist in the design, planning, and implementation of enterprise wide, scalable technologies to support overall IT operations and ensure stable operation of IT infrastructure (on-prem & cloud), systems, storage and other technology platforms.You will have a customer focused approach to solving problems, with a passion for technology, to enable real value for our business.

This role requires a good understanding of infrastructure design and operations to support the technology landscape securely and reliably.Technical Skills:Significant technical skills within enterprise environments with a focus on data centres and facilities, servers, storage, network, data protection, cloud platforms and related enterprise software across these technology stacks.Hands-on technical skills that enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.Demonstrated skills and experience in configuring, managing and supporting Microsoft Azure Cloud services (including AVD, Azure Files, etc.
), M365 services, VMware, including but not limited to Fortinet products, Cohesity and Zscaler.Demonstrated skills in Microsoft technology stacks (AD, Entra ID, GPO, DHCP, CA etc.)
and Windows operating systems (Server & Client).Security technologies (email, endpoint, edge and perimeter security).Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, engaging with onsite and virtual teams to quickly establish business requirements / technical capability requirements to deliver business outcomes.Understanding of governance, security and compliance across Microsoft Cloud services.Experience:Experience in a similar IT systems engineer role in an enterprise environment.Tertiary qualification in technology, information systems, computer science or equivalent industry experience, and have a demonstrated curiosity for new knowledge.Professional certifications such as Azure Solution Architect, VCP, etc.Experience across a wide range of IT systems, networks, security, cloud.Expertise in Azure, M365, VMware, Fortinet platforms and Windows OS.Experience analysing existing infrastructure systems to ensure they are appropriate and effectively meet the needs of the organisation and evaluating alternative technologies.Experience developing and reviewing technical design, architecture and roadmap.Experience with task automation and PowerShell scripting.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject Management and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
