Senior Resident Medical Officer ? Emergency
Temporary full time and part time opportunities available.
As the SRMO you will be responsible for the provision of safe, effective and appropriate patient centred medical care (under appropriate supervision) in a team based emergency department. At Calvary Mater Newcastle (CMN), the main point of difference for our emergency department is specialised focus on general medicine, oncology and haematology, palliative care, psychiatric and clinical toxicology presentations.

Selection criteria
* Primary medical degree that is registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Completion of at least two postgraduate years with a genuine interest in Emergency Medicine.
* Recent Emergency / Acute Care experience in a Base and/or Teaching Hospital.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in a supervised environment and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
