E-Commerce Manager

Home Blinds Australia – Bathurst, NSW (Robin Hill)

Position Overview

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of Home Blinds Australia's digital retail operations. This role will drive the growth, profitability, and customer experience of the business, working closely with the business owner/Managing Director. Primarily office-based in Bathurst, with flexible hybrid arrangements.

Position Purpose

To lead and grow all facets of Home Blinds Australia's online business, driving strong sales, an exceptional customer journey, and robust operational processes. The E-Commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in business strategy and day-to-day execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth (40%)

* Develop and execute e-commerce growth strategies to achieve monthly/annual revenue targets.
* Identify new growth opportunities (products, segments, channels).
* Monitor competitors and trends to ensure market relevance.
* Lead promotional strategy: campaigns, sales, special offers.
* Optimize conversion rates and increase average order value (AOV).
* Drive retention: loyalty initiatives, maximizing customer lifetime value (CLV).
* Set and report on sales targets; provide actionable insights and forecasts.

Digital Marketing & Traffic Generation (25%)

* Plan and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns: SEO, SEM, email, social media.
* Manage paid ad channels (Google, Facebook/Instagram).
* Oversee email marketing and digital content, ensuring brand consistency.
* Track and improve marketing KPIs (ROAS, CAC, engagement).

Customer Support & Experience (15%)

* Oversee customer contact channels (phone, email, chat, social media).
* Ensure timely, empathetic, and effective customer support.
* Resolve queries and issues, turning challenges into positive experiences.
* Analyze and optimize the end-to-end customer journey for satisfaction and NPS uplift.

Operations & Order Management (15%)

* Maintain accurate website listings, stock levels, and pricing.
* Coordinate with suppliers for inventory and fulfillment.
* Manage product sampling, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
* Monitor and enhance delivery processes.

Website & Platform Management (5%)

* Oversee website health: performance, UX/UI, mobile responsiveness, accessibility.
* Manage developers for feature improvements.
* Drive ongoing web optimization.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Revenue growth (Target: 10–15% monthly).
* AOV ($200–$300/transaction).
* Conversion rate (2–4%).
* Revenue per visitor ($1.50–$2.50).
* Website traffic (15–20% quarterly growth).
* CAC ( 20%, CTR >2.5%).
* Cart abandonment ( 30% annually).
* NPS (>50).
* Fulfillment (3–5 business days), product availability (>95%), returns (<5%).
* 100% sample dispatch within 48 hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* 3–5 years relevant e-commerce or digital marketing experience.
* Proven success managing high-revenue online stores.
* Experience in retail/home goods/DIY e-commerce.
* Proficiency in Shopify/WooCommerce/Magento and digital marketing tools.
* Strong analytics and data-driven decision capabilities.
* Familiarity with Google Analytics, Ads, and CRM/email platforms.
* Operational, customer service, and inventory management experience.
* Excellent organization and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

* Knowledge of Australian e-commerce and consumer trends.
* Home furnishings, home improvement, or DIY industry experience.
* Experience in startups/small business.
* Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.).
* Understanding of Australian Consumer Law.

Compensation & Benefits

* Base salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Superannuation (11.5%) + Performance Bonus (5–15% of salary).
* OTE: $95,200–$126,500 per annum.
* Flexible start/finish within core hours, 4 weeks annual and 10 days personal leave, family/domestic violence leave.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,431.54 – $147,792.75 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

* Bathurst NSW 2795: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
