About the role
Permanent full‐time role based out of our Woodville North Showroom. Responsible for meeting with Architects, Building Designers, Custom Builders, and/or their clients and Owner Builders, both in the showroom and on building sites. The role is strongly weighted towards offering a personalised solution to our client's residential project, from the design stage right through to completion, walking them through the sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Product Presentations and Sales Consultations
* Completing take‐offs, preparing quotations and regular follow‐ups
* Prospecting new business / business development activities
* Manage & maintain customer relationships
* Administration duties required to complete the sales process
* Visiting construction sites on a regular basis
* Achieve a sales budget
* Completing weekly sales reporting and regular communication with the sales manager
* Attendance at regular meetings and providing constructive input and ideas
* Rostered showroom attendance, servicing incoming leads via phone, email and walk‐ins
Desired Experience & Skills
* Be sales focused with a high level of attention to detail
* Possess excellent technical aptitude
* Confident communication and excellent administration skills
* A passion for sales within the building industry
* Highly organised with great people skills
* Not afraid to pick up the phone, approach customers and go the extra mile
* Proficient with MS Office Suite
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
What we offer
This is a long‐term position for someone committed to a future within Rylock. The successful candidate will be offered a salary package of $137K, which includes the base salary, super and projected commission when selling to a 1st‐year budget, noting the commission structure is uncapped. The package also includes a vehicle.
