Support Worker Role
The role of a Support Worker is a vital part of our team. You will be working with individuals living with disabilities, children and young people in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Building relationships with the people you are caring for
* Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs
* Administering medication
* Transporting participants to and from school, day programs and appointments
* Assisting in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client
Requirements
* A current Working with Children Check
* A current NDIS Worker Check
* A current First Aid Certificate
* A National Police Check
* A current driver's licence (minimum of a P2)
* A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people
* Comprehensive Car Insurance
* A Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster
* Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks
Desirable Qualifications
* Certificate 4 Disability, or Disability Support or equivalent
* Certificate 3 Individual Support
* Certificate 3 Aged Care
