Casual Bookkeeper – Payroll, AR & AP (Hospitality / Xero)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to support our hospitality business with payroll and day-to-day accounts administration in a casual role. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience in hospitality bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing weekly/fortnightly payroll (hospitality awards knowledge highly regarded)
* Managing accounts receivable and payable
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate records in Xero
* Assisting with superannuation and payroll reporting
* Supporting BAS preparation and liaising with our accountant
* Handling hospitality-specific financial processes, including POS integrations and daily takings
About You
* Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within hospitality
* Strong working knowledge of Xero
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Good understanding of computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly
* Experience with payroll processing and hospitality awards
* Confident managing AR & AP workflows
* High level of accuracy and organisation
