Overview
CHRISTWAY COLLEGE – WYNDHAM is seeking a Secondary Physics Teacher for January, 2026. The position is ongoing, part-time or full time, time fraction negotiable. Applications are invited from new graduates and experienced teachers.
Salary: $80,000-$120,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the secondary Physics subject area and related curriculum with a focus on student learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform responsibilities in a manner that reflects the College’s mission.
- Show capacity and experience to deliver the subject area and, where applicable, teaching in a Christian context.
- Foster pastoral care for student welfare, community connectivity and parent partnership.
- Utilise relevant technological skills as appropriate to the role.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to a supportive Christian learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applications should include: a cover letter and a concise curriculum vitae including personal details, church involvement, career experience, and academic attainments.
- Three referees are required, including one church reference demonstrating an active Christian faith.
- In the cover letter, reference may be made to: ability to reflect the College’s mission, capacity to deliver the subject area, prior experience teaching in a Christian context, pastoral approach to student welfare, and relevant technological skills.
