Orthopaedic Surgeon Role Overview
In accordance with the health service values, this role entails providing high-quality, cost-efficient and effective clinical services to benefit patients/clients.
About You
* You will be responsible for achieving organisational goals through ethical decision-making.
* Initiate and manage patient care in the Orthopaedic Department while ensuring best interests are met.
* Consult with other hospital staff as required regarding patient management and related issues.
* Document relevant clinical information legibly, concisely and accurately.
* Arrange post-discharge care of patients as required.
* Transfer patients as necessary.
* Ensure an appropriate clinical handover of patients transferred to another hospital or treating team.
* Supervise junior medical staff in the Orthopaedic Department.
