About the team The Commercialization Manager will be part of the Quality Assurance team for Asia-Pacific, reporting to the QA Lead for APAC. This role collaborates closely with R&D, Innovation, Culinary, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to support product commercialization and ensure smooth product transitions. Key Responsibilities Supplier Identification and Assessment: Identify and map potential local suppliers in the APAC region, especially in Australia. Assess suppliers' capabilities to ensure they meet brand needs and operational standards. Shortlist suppliers for further engagement based on alignment with requirements. Supplier Onboarding and Legal Compliance: Coordinate with the APAC Procurement team for legal onboarding of suppliers. Ensure all documentation and contracts comply with company policies. SKU Briefing and Sample Evaluation: Brief suppliers on product standards using guidelines, in collaboration with the International Chef. Organize tastings, gather culinary feedback, and manage NPD processes to meet standards. Supplier Check-In and Site Visits: Conduct check-ins and visits to monitor progress and organize tasting sessions. Project Tracking and Reporting: Create and maintain SKU trackers, provide project updates, and communicate risks and next steps to teams. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or related fields. At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in food service or quick service restaurants. Experience in NPD, supplier development, product commercialization, and food manufacturing. Deep knowledge of deli meats, specialty breads, and dairy products. Quality assurance, R&D, and food manufacturing experience required. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and Process Capability. Skills Required: Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Effective communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in high-volume, high-pressure environments preferred. Sense of urgency and commitment to quality standards. Results-oriented with accountability and drive.
