We have a fantastic opportunity for an AMEP/English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for students. In this role, you'll plan and deliver sessions that inspire learners, ensuring materials meet all regulatory standards and curriculum requirements. You'll foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student responsibility while adapting resources to suit diverse needs. Alongside teaching, you'll manage administrative tasks and contribute to the development and review of programs to enhance learning outcomes.
As the successful candidate you will have:
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 or TAE40110 with upgrade to TAE40116 is also accepted. (GOTAFE supports on the job completion).
• 3-year Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• A postgraduate TESOL qualification in adult education.
• Knowledge of ASCF and EAL frameworks.
• Strong digital literally skills.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging course materials and lessons
• Demonstrated experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to use learning management systems.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
• A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
• A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
• A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary for this role is L1.1-L3.4 as per the Victorian Tafe Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.
