**The Role**
**Reporting to the Mana**g**e**r **- Global Surgical Solutions, **this business-critical role will develop long term professional sales relationships by promoting our GSS products, services and solutions to both potential and existing customers/business partners. You will be responsible for uncovering opportunities and be able to confidently communicate and understand the Baxter strategy whilst managing and maintaining account relationships to maximise the sales for Baxter.
You are a self-motivated individual driven to deliver exceptional customer experiences and have ideally gained experience in Med Tech sales working in a hospital and Theatre setup.
**Key responsibilities**
- Execute sales strategies as set by the manager and leadership team to attain quarterly and yearly sales targets
- Develop new business and maintain existing business in order to grow the business and maximise market presence by spending as much time as possible in the field with customers
- Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, product demonstrations and in-servicing to potential and existing customers as required
- Resolve customer complaints as soon as possible and liaise with Management, Customer Service and Field Service to ensure customer satisfaction for every order
- Train appropriate medical staff and company employees on new products. In consultation with product experts, ensure customers, prospective customers and staff are technically competent through in-service presentations, one-on-one training, peer education and supply of information.
**Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Relevant experience in a capital equipment sales role in the medical device industry (Ideal)
- At least 5 years working within the operating theatre environment
- Infrastructure experience will be highly regarded
- Excellent selling skills, including value added selling techniques and Key Account Management
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
