Job Title: Emergency Physician (FACEM) - St Vincent's and GV Health Combined Appointment
Salary: $262,099 – $360,391 p.a + super + salary package

About the Role:
Please note: This position is not suitable for applicants on a specialist pathway with limited registration.
The Emergency FACEM supervises Registrars and Junior Medical Officers, and is involved in teaching junior doctors and medical students. The role requires collaboration with GV Health and SVHM specialists, providing some out-of-hours services, including weekends. The clinical duties are shared equally between GV Health and SVHM EDs, with flexibility for alternative arrangements for successful applicants.
GV Health Emergency Department:
* 36-bed ED with high acuity and diverse case mix
* Dedicated Fast Track area with seven cubicles and a consultation room
* 9-bed Short Stay Unit, including one isolation room
* CT scan room, ultrasound room, and two X-Ray rooms
* Behavioral Assessment room, mental health spaces, forensic room
