What You'll Do
* Research into new technologies, electronics components, and circuits.
* Development of electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.
* Design verification and validation, to ensure required functionality, compliance, quality, cost & manufacturability.
* Liaise with other local and global R&D colleagues and teams, material suppliers and manufacturers globally.
Your Qualifications
* BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, with 2+ years of commercial experience in analogue & digital electronics design.
* Strong proficiency in Altium E-CAD (PCB Design) & MS Office suite. SolidWorks M-CAD, Adobe suite and programming languages such as C, C++ and Python would be an advantage.
* Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers implementation, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.
* Understanding of IEC/EN and UL standards would be an advantage.
* Ability to work unsupervised and to take ownership of tasks and projects, with a good understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work effectively in a global multi-site, multi-cultural R&D and manufacturing team environment.
* Demonstrated hands‐on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes.
* Understanding of project management fundamentals.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
