ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking an experienced, motivated and conscientious person to fill the position of Senior Finance Administrative Officer, within the Business Services Unit. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a range of accounting and financial activities, including assisting in the preparation, operation and management of various financial reporting, compliance and business services for ACTCS. In addition, you will supervise and manage the accounts payable process of ACTCS, within the Accounts Payable Invoice Automation Solution (APIAS), Oracle Cloud, TM1 reporting and accounts receivables. Further to this, you will be required to assist in the preparation of accrual based financial management reports, prepare financial and non-financial information such as monthly accrual accounting, capital works reports, contract analysis, budget initiative and variance reports, fringe benefit tax expenditure and monthly journals. To be successful, you will have the ability to think and act in a busy environment, possess excellent customer service and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage personal work priorities.
