Financial Crime Compliance Manager
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional to develop and maintain robust financial crime compliance programs and policies.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role within a financial services and/or professional services environment, with relevant certifications such as CAMs and ACAMs being desirable.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office, based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Framework Development and Oversight:
o Monitor and maintain the financial crime compliance framework to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date.
o Develop and implement new policies and procedures as necessary.
* Monitoring and Training:
o Conduct regular reviews of the business' implementation of the financial crime compliance program.
o Provide training and education to employees on financial crime compliance.
* Audit and Reporting:
o Facilitate independent audits of the financial crime compliance program.
o Participate in industry groups and review global developments to continuously evolve and enhance the financial crime compliance program.
* Advisory and Support:
o Provide advice and guidance to business leaders on financial crime compliance matters.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
* Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with other departments to ensure the financial crime compliance program is aligned with overall business objectives.
o Partner with global financial crime compliance colleagues to drive best practices and efficiencies.
Requirements
* Significant experience in a similar role within a financial services and/or professional services environment.
* Relevant certification such as CAMs and ACAMs are desirable.
