This is a twelve-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney. The role is a true generalist position offering variety and the opportunity to work on projects that you will see implemented in real-time. You will join a hardworking, collaborative team that provides resources and support to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and partner with business units, acting as their SME for all things Human Resources.
* Provide HR advice, guidance and recommendations to managers and employees across the employee life-cycle.
* Collaborate with the broader HR team to drive initiatives including benefits harmonisation, employee engagement action plans, policy integration, and more.
* With support from the P&C Manager, manage complex employee relations matters by supporting line managers with performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee conduct concerns, while providing expert guidance on key issues.
* Drive organisational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
* Collaborate with the P&C Manager to support the remuneration review process, including benchmarking, performance-based outcomes, and ensuring internal equity.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Significant HR Generalist experience.
* Experience in a highly regulated environment such as financial services.
* Excellent communication and partnering skills, with the ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
